Quality and Supply Chain
The products supplied by Kordis are sourced not only from its own Chinese joint venture factory but also other supply partners in Europe and Asia.
The Chinese joint venture factory, Sunway Kordis (Shanghai) Limited, has an ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality Management System, an ISO 14001 : 2004 Environmental Management System, British Retail Consortium Global Standard Consumer Product accreditation and Sedex registration.
Other factories used are subject to a thorough interrogation of their operating procedures in order to ensure that they have the necessary technical expertise, available capacity, cost effective manufacturing equipment, process controls and service culture before they are selected as supply partners to Kordis.
Kordis works closely with its customers in order to achieve the consistently high service levels demanded by the major European retailers. The commercial, technical and logistics interfaces between Kordis and its customers ensure a smooth progression of product development, agreeing specifications, sales order processing, stock holding and delivery.
