Introduction
Kordis supplies household products such as waste disposal bags and food storage bags to the retail trade throughout Europe.
The products supplied are either manufactured in the Company's Chinese joint venture factory or are sourced from a number of supply partners throughout Asia and Europe.
Kordis was incorporated in 2001. The Company's Chinese joint venture factory, Sunway Kordis (Shanghai) Limited, was designed and built specifically to manufacture the Sunway Kordis range of products and started production in 2003. It now successfully supplies the European, American, Australian and local Chinese markets and is a major polythene extrusion and conversion facility in China.
Kordis has major grocery retail customers in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain and Russia.
The Kordis senior management team in Europe and in Asia has many years of experience gained from working with the leading players in this industry. They not only manage the companies in the Kordis group but are nearly all shareholders too, so they have a vested interest in the long term success of the business. In addition the customers receive the attention they deserve from the owners of the business which makes for quick decisive and efficient account management.
