Environmental Issues
The carbon footprint of the Kordis products supplied is an increasing factor in their design. The following elements are considered seriously.
- Using new polymers, technology and blends to reduce the amount of material used without impairing performance
- Minimising packaging without compromising on-shelf impact, efficiency as a communication vehicle, protection in transit or ease of use
- Using recycled material where available and appropriate
- Reducing the use of finite resource materials through the use of polymer extenders and starch based feedstock
- Lessening the impact on the environment after product use by utilizing degradable materials
- Using materials which comply with environmental and safety legislation
- Sourcing from factories which operate under an ISO 14001 : 2004 Environmental Management System
